The Eternal and Ever Present Om
With each in breath Om vibrates through
With each out breath Om vibrates from.
Love Rides on the Vibrations of Om.
Out into the atmosphere that we all move in
Into the hearts of those open enough to receive.

Imagine walking through your life recognising everyone you pass by as a brother, a sister, a fellow human being trying their best to live a happy life…….
Imagine going beyond judgement, fear, doubt, otherness, “theyness” and vibrating love and kindness to the people in your community - home, work, gym, cafes, shops etc.

What would your life be like if you practiced this each day?
How would it change the way you move through the world?

Below are some Practices I’ve been experimenting with that you might like to try.
They’ve brought more joy, confidence and connection into my life and seemed to have influenced me to be a little less self centred.
I’ve still got plenty of work to do but these tools will continue to help me do that work.

Living Metta

Say G’day to A Stranger A Day
Simply acknowledging the humanity in the people you pass by on a daily basis can be a powerful tool for opening you heart.
A smile, “hello”, “how are you?”, “have a nice day” can be a beautiful way to let the love the exist inside you come out into the world a little and cultivate a sense of community.

Formal Practice

Metta Mantra
Repeat each morning before getting out of bed and read &/or write this everyday. As per week 1 and 2 if you have your own version go with that.

May All Beings Be Free From Suffering
May All Beings Be Happy and Healthy
May All Beings Experience Joy and Contentment
May All Beings have the Strength and Courage to walk there path with Grace and Ease
May All Beings Be Full Of and Surrounded by Love

Metta Meditation
Either as a stand alone practice or at the end of your usual meditation practice spend time repeating the above Mantra and generating a sense of love and kindness with in yourself.
